The premise — what is 195-0?
195-0 is a short strategy game about putting an unlikely cabinet together. Each person comes from a country and a category, and each appointment changes what your team can do. Your job is to make the best use of the names in front of you, then see whether the result can conquer every nation on the map.
The people in the draft are there for the game, not as a serious forecast of how anyone would govern. A politician may be the obvious President, while a pop star could make sense as Propaganda Minister. You get limited information and one decision at a time. That makes the awkward picks matter, especially when the strongest option is needed somewhere else.
A new run starts with an empty cabinet and ends after five appointments. You do not need a rulebook before playing. The current category and country appear first, six candidates appear next, and the role picker shows which jobs are still open. A first attempt takes only a few minutes. Later runs give you time to test whether your instincts were actually good.
Your campaign — how 195-0 works
- 01
Roll a Situation
Each round draws a category and a country. That pairing tells you what kind of candidate to expect and sets the context for the decision.
- 02
Review Six Candidates
Six candidates appear together. Look at the category, the country, and the jobs you still need to fill. A good candidate for one position may be a poor choice for another.
- 03
Assign Their Roles
Confirm one person, then choose one of the available roles. The appointment is permanent for that run, so check the open positions before you commit.
- 04
Simulate the Conquest
After five rounds, send your team into the field. 195-0 gives you a score, an outcome, and a short account of how those appointments performed together.
The verdict — how scoring works
The score is capped at 195. It combines several small decisions, so one excellent appointment cannot fix every weak one.
- 01Every cabinet starts at 30 points.
- 02Role fit adds 0–100: each category has a weight per role; fit = (weight − min) / (max − min).
- 03Combo bonuses: +11 for a top-tier category match, +8 for second tier.
- 04Alliance bonus: +4 with two countries, +8 with three or more.
- 05No-authority penalty: ×0.65 if the cabinet has zero Politicians, Dictators, or Military Commanders.
- 06Joke pick penalties: Poets/Porn Stars in General −14, in Treasurer −10.
- 07Battlefield variance: +0–20 random each simulation.
- 08Final score clamped to 0–195.
Practical advice — a few ways to pick
Protect the Important Seats
The General and Treasurer have clear penalties for bad fits. Save a strong military or financial candidate for the seat where that category helps most.
Keep Authority in the Room
A team with no Politician, Dictator, or Military Commander loses part of its score. A strange team is fine, but keeping one authority figure gives the campaign a better base.
Use the Country Bonus
Country variety matters after the appointments are complete. Do not force a different nation every round. When two candidates are otherwise close, a new country can improve your global bonus.
Leave Room for Odd Ideas
A perfect score is not the only useful result. Make one sensible team, then make an appointment that looks ridiculous. The result text may explain why the joke worked better than the plan.
After the draft — read your 195-0 result
The result is a short report on the cabinet you built. The number shows how close the campaign came to the 195-0 goal. The outcome title gives the number some context, and the description points back to people in your team. Read it even when the score is low. A failed campaign can show you which appointment to rethink next time.
A 195-0 run takes only a few minutes. Remember what worked, start again, and try a different plan. The category and country change from round to round, so there is no single opening that solves the game every time.
FAQ — questions about 195-0
Q1.What is the goal?

Q3.Can I play 195-0 again?
Yes. Classic Draft is unlimited. Daily gives you one puzzle a day, replayable until 00:00 UTC.
Q4.Is this a real political simulation?
No. This is a fictional game about absurd cabinets. Nobody is endorsed or predicted.
